Martha M. STANARD--Frankenmuth--Passed
away on Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at her
residence. She was 78. She was born
January 14, 1923 in Caro. The former
Martha Surine married Kenneth Stanard
on August 15, 1953 in Caro. She was
employed at the Rainbow Bread Company
until her retirement. Martha loved her
grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing,
knitting, crocheting, crosswords and
reading. She is survived by two sons
and three daughters-in-law, Patrick
and Robin Stanard of Leonard, Randy
and Gwen Stanard of Bridgeport, Gisela
Stanard of Frankenmuth; five
grandchildren, Matthew Stanard and
wife, Kris of Bay City, Zachary, Cayla
Stanard of Leonard, Joshua, Alyssa,
Livonia, Lewis Surine of Caro; several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by one son, Robert Stanard;
three sisters, Mable Thomas, Myrtle
Traster, and Mildred Witkovsky.
Funeral service will be held at Collon
Funeral Home of Caro on Friday, June 1
at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Todd of
Living Word Worship Center, Cass City,
officiating. In accordance with
Martha's wishes, cremation has taken
place.
